Adaptive Surfing
We try our best to cater for people of all ages and abilities, including those with physical, learning and sensory impairments.
We want everyone to be able to enjoy The Wave and we are big supporters of adaptive surfing, and work hard to provide an accessible surf experience for as many people as we can.
The term ‘Adaptive Surfing’ refers to those with additional needs or challenges, such as those with a disability, that require extra assistance, specialised equipment or an adapted surfing experience to match their abilities
If you need additional support during your visit to us please fill in the form below.
Did you know our whole site was designed to be accessible by wheelchair, we have disabled toilets located around our site and we also have changing rooms fitted with a seated shower for after your surf for those who need it. Our campsite also has accessible tents.
